Excellent work. GIMP needs something like that by default.

Quick question as I don't muck around in the terminal very often, is the commands for the symbolic svgs just changing colors of the icons (looks like hex colors?) or switching the icons with icons from another theme?

Really interested in knowing but googling Linux commands can be an ordeal.

I don't understand what you mean "looks like hex colors?"

From wiki:
"Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is an XML-based vector image format for two-dimensional graphics with support for interactivity and animation. The SVG specification is an open standard developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) since 1999.

SVG images and their behaviors are defined in XML text files. This means that they can be searched, indexed, scripted, and compressed. As XML files, SVG images can be created and edited with any text editor, as well as with drawing software."

Symbolic icons contained on Gimp 2.9.7 and high
Commands changed only colors. it's all

Sorry.

I was referring to this
s/bebebe/d3dae3/g
I was thinking the bebebe and d3dae3 were color codes one being the original color and the other being the color you want to change to.

To make things simpler could you just walk me through what the entire command is doing piece by piece?

If not I still appreciate you attempting to answer my extremely inarticulate questions.

Yes, this command change color #bebebe to #d3dae3. This colors best looking with papirus icon theme.
It's only recommendation, you not must doing this!

Thanks that's what I thought was going on.

Final question are the svgs from Papirus or Gimp?
