Description:

The point is that tabs bar is fully transparent, so you can set it's color and transparency manually (at the right on the third screenshot).
Setting are available by keyboard shortcuts. If you have them unset (default) edit ~/.kde4/share/config/yakuakerc and make your Shortcuts section look like
[shortcuts]
options_configure=Ctrl+Shift+O
options_configure_keybinding=Ctrl+Shift+K

Restart yakuake, press Ctrl+Shift+K to configure hotkeys or Ctrl+Shift+O to open settings.

I can't open settings. I don't have yakuakerc in kde4 configs, only in kde configs. I created one and edited the other. No progress. (terminated yakuake and restarted also)

I understand.
Checked it: transparency worked only under Oxygen-style.
I use Bespin or QtCurve style and here it don't work.

I get a fake transparency under the same parameters, so the same with any other.
Or so it should be?

How can you access the menu if you have that bar hidden?

I'm using keyboard shortcuts. If you are already using this skin and you want to open settings dialog, check your ~/.kde4/share/config/yakuakerc
Try appending this lines (or modifying existing ones):
Quote:
[Shortcuts]
options_configure=Ctrl+Shift+O
options_configure_keybinding=Ctrl+Shift+K

Restart yakuake.

Thanks that worked great. Thanks for the theme, it was just what I was looking for.
